Stony Ridge Located in Loveday, South Australia, Stony Ridge offers a welcoming, supportive environment for riders to learn, develop their skills and build confidence around horses. Catering for children aged 4 years and over, our riding school offers structured lessons tailored to each rider's individual ability, experience and goals. From complete beginners taking their first steps in the saddle through to developing riders interested in jumping, Western riding, Pony Club-style activities and competition preparation, our focus is on building confident, capable and knowledgeable horsemen and horsewomen. Our experienced school horses and ponies each have their own personalities and strengths, allowing us to carefully match riders with suitable horses as they progress. With dedicated instructors, small lesson numbers and an emphasis on correct riding techniques, horsemanship and horse welfare, we aim to make every lesson both educational and enjoyable.
