Mount Isa Showgrounds

The Mount Isa Show is held at Buchanan Park Events Complex, a council-owned venue at the corner of George and Simpson Streets, Mount Isa, completed in 2008. The complex is home to the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo, billed as the largest rodeo in the Southern Hemisphere, and its main Kalkadoon Arena seats more than 4,500 people. The annual show program includes rodeo and equestrian events, with bookings made through Mount Isa City Council.
